I was just wondering if animated wallpapers are possible on my blackberry tour. If they are can someone direct me to a site where you can get them for free? Thanks

There are THEMES that can animate the "home wallpaper" but I don't think you can use gif's as your own wallpaper and have them animated. There are two tour themes I can think of altho not their precise names and both are Christmas related. One is Polar Express, the other is a blinking xmas lights one. They do cause a lag as the animations take up time.

The only one I know of is the Polar Express wallpaper. It did have a big animation lag, although a good looking theme. It was a battery drain as well.

No, there is no such thing as an animated wallpaper - as stated above - but you can buy themes that include homescreen animations. A few can be found at Bplay: BlackBerry Games, Themes and Entertainment. Be careful, though. I've heard that the animations make the phone lag like crazy.
