You guys might well know the Motorola Keyboard Mod. Now there's a new device coming in Q1 2019 from this company. I'll be a qwerty slider and it looks very promising.
I know more folks that loved typing on a full landscape keyboard, then ever used squished together portrait one. Many dumb phones had them, and most your earlier droids did too.
But in 2018? It's a gimmick. One I taught they had already tried to do with some crowdfunding and it failed.
I strongly disagree. I used to have Samsung Galaxy Relay 4G, that was the best typing experience while it lasted. 5 rows (including numeric one), arrows! My Key2 is a compromise, had to give up the landscape keyboard for power and at least some keyboard.
Not sure if I will switch, got kinda hooked on BB now (security, gestures, etc...). And the Key2 is not that bad of a keyboard phone after all

Can you even imagine how limited typing speed would be due to the huge thumb extensions required to type landscape? Your thumbs would also be dead after just a few minutes.
I am a formerly Psion and Nokia Communicator user. I also had one of these Danger Sidekick devices and enjoyded it very much. I never liked the change to these glass smartphones. I hope these landscape devices come back -best with BlackBerry security.
I've enjoyed my Nokia Communicators, Side kicks and 2 samsung landscape pkb's as much as all the pkb berries i've owned before the Apple explosion took place and when innovation/risk wasn't frowned upon too much.
North America just isn't aware about Nokia Communicators/Side kicks which were a huge hit in Europe, UK, Middle east and Asia Pacific back in the day.

What? Side Kicks was huge in the US aka part of North America. Nokia, while they messed up with not release flip phones fast in the US, they still was huge.

Sidekicks were huge. I remember buying my son a variation, don’t remember the name, from AT&T....
