Afraid it doesn't work at all on the Q10, just a blue dot in the middle of the screen.

Yea BlackBerry cameras are woeful. But luckily it's the software so it can be fixed. The front facing camera in the dark is completely dreadful. It is so grainy you can't see anything.

The Pepsi can in the lower pic isn't lit at all, so how can a flash have been involved there? I doubt it.

Below you find a HDR shot I took with my Z10 just yesterday. The focal point was right at the sun.

Why camera discussions keep getting brought up is beyond me. The z10 and Z30 camera's are fine in outdoor, well lit areas with a non moving subject. Beyond that the cameras are what I would call lower quality compared to high end phones from other manufacturers.

The flash setting was set to automatic in both picture. Only the app decided if it was required

The flash in my Z10 is pretty bad. Doesn't flash the whole pic, just some areas

SMH I hate it when people attach totally random pictures to any discussion regarding bad camera quality on Bb10. We are talking about low light conditions so why are you showing us a picture of the brightest thing that exists in this world? The sun.
