Welcome to CB. If you are looking for a program for the storm to do programming, I don't think that there is one available. I think the best you can do in this situation is open a document and write out the code you need but you won't have a way to compile it on the storm. If you are looking to do programing for the BB, go to the developer section of the bb website. I would say to wait to see what devices are being announced in the coming months before deciding on a device. I suggest going with a physical keyboard instead of using a touchscreen if you want to be doing any typing for a long time. Even though I love the keyboard on my storm, it can be hard on the hands after about 10 minutes of continuous typing.

Thank you all for your answers. I'll start reading about the OS on the storm. If you guys could choose between iphone 3g and blackberry storm which one would you prefer? Which one would you recommend to someone interested on creating apps and programming, not ON the device, but for the device.

I think you'll find programming for the iPhone will be a little easier. At the same time, you'll also find that iPhone apps usually are expected to sell at a lower price point.

There is a huge following with BlackBerries, so you will find a desire to purchase BB software from the many many many BB users. The difficult part is threre are several different BB devbices, so you will have to test to make sure it works with most of them.
