The more I need to use these Android and IOS phones, the more I enjoy the speed but hate the non-streamlined interfaces. Media consumption is great but data input and manipulation is extremely tedious. Does no one care?

I have no clue how anybody does any serious work on an iPhone. Even Android with BlackBerry's attempt at fixing and consolidating the communication interface falls short of the swipe up and over beauty.

I care not about apps nor gimmicks - I just want a BB10 Z30 with refreshed hardware, screen, battery, and browser.

    Anyone else agree?

Agreed, best unit I have ever used. Nothing comes close even today. There will never be another one. Currently I have the DTEK60, but not for much longer.

The UI is awesome to be sure. Even my University aged daughter who went from the Q10 to KEYone said that it took more gestures to do the same thing on the Android phone than on the BB10. However, it's all about support and there is very little for BB10. So we accept and move on, maybe a little backwards in some respects but forward in others.

No your not man. Was after that for awhile myself. Better loxal deal on a new classic though so I went for that.

Still using my z30, but might have to try out the new iPhone that's coming out this fall since it looks like they are going to be using os10 like swipe gestures.

As long as you can live in the Apple ecosystem you'll be fine. Too many limitations for me though.

I could tolerate going back to BB10 if the browser was going to be kept up to date. if I could run my netflix Hulu and amazon prime video accounts in the browser I could live with everything else. but we're closing in on 2018 and a 2013 Web browser ain't cutting it.

Get ready to facepalm. The new iPhone X or edition, whatever they decide to call it, will blow people out of the water. While it's gestures might not be new to BlackBerry or Palm users it will be new and innovative to most of the world.

    Nope! OS10 is still superior!

But BlackBerry admitted that they killed it on purpose.

Yes, they cancelled a project that brought them to the brink of financial ruin. For shame.

The Z30 was a decent mid range device with a garbage screen and some decent hardware for its time. It didn't sell then and a refreshed one sure as hell wouldn't sell now.

Bb10 failure was it's lack of even the most basic apps, so we all fled. Probably will buy the Keyone after my passport and samsung 7 dies out

The gestures are a welcome addition long overdue from the other two but we still need a decent VKB. Would love it if someone could port it to iPhone.

I am with you there. The Z30 was the perfect sized device running on BB10. I hope that the "Krypton" would be a worthy "spiritual" successor.

    I have a Z10,Z30,black Passport and a PRIV.

I have had the all the following phones in the same order Palm treo 750 , palm pre, bb torch 9800 , 9900, IPhone 4, Z10 , Z30 , Passport, Tried the Windows lumia 650 for 1 month , and now the Priv.

My Windows phone experience was short lived for many reasons. I hated the IPhone I tried but it just wasn't for me.

The Phones I miss are my Z30 and my Passport . I would still be using them if they only had a couple of apps I use daily. Every time I pick up my Z30 or my passport I think wow these phones are amazing.

The OS is just perfect for me. Blackberry could not have done a better job at designing BB10.

So I would say YES with a few apps a Z30 refresh would be good. I was trying to use the browser in place of the apps but it was not the same. So I am stuck on the Android thing.
