    Hey all,

Am I the only one? I downloaded a lot of music from bbw. Why? The smooth easy transaction thats why. Chen says there are alternates in bbw but I have not found any good MP3 stores. I downloaded Amazon prime / music store half the songs I wanted weren't there but are in bbw music store. The other problem is the Amazon app sucks it freezes sometimes and is very laggy.
I know not everyone is going to agree with me but I for one am not happy about being forced into Android apps for something we already have native. There is a world of difference on the way apps work. Don't get me wrong I have a ton of Android apps and I am happy BlackBerry will get the Amazon app store but not all apps work as smooth as native.
Bring back BBM music and don't stop native apps.
Chen two steps forward one step back dude.

nope i never purchased from them. I never would buy from a place that is not universal and completely free from being tied down in anyway. The same for movies. I might have bought 2-3 99 cent movies and that was it since they were tied to BB devices and such. I do have a considerable amount of movies and music in my amazon cloud but i download them for use on devices many times

You will notice great improvement in the amazon apps when 10.3 launches. And I've only bought 1 song and 2 movies when they were 99 cents. No big loss for me

Oh, guess it is just me. I hope amazon apps work better or soon because right now they suck.
I do agree the movies from bbw was a waste I bought plenty of movies and every time I loaded a new OS it counted against me. So movies I didn't care about.

Never done it, as it never became available in my country. Only browsed through it once when I was on a trip to Colombia, as it was available there, but didn't purchase
I don't think you're the only one and there are more people that used it, but due to the limited availability in only countries, they might not be a lot

I have never ordered a movie. However I bought lots of music. I've tried amazon awhile ago and it was laggy and wasn't as smooth. I'm sure when 10.3 comes out it'll be better. I'm hoping when I get my new Passport it works better than on my z30. I do worry that the US carriers will drag there feet on releasing the 10.3 and the people who don't side load (probably most users) will suffer.

Can't be mad when there are plenty of ways (even if they are android) to get music. People can say what they want but I have never paid for a song unless I get a album from one of my favorite artists. lol my Z10 has helped me use up 83% of my 64GB SD card full of movies and music

I am sad too that BlackBerry is closing the music and movie section. I have got a lots of movies from BlackBerry World. I hope they will reconsider as they are trying to expand to consumer space with z3 and other phones.

I wish 7Digital makes a Native app to make up for it (it's their service after all!)

I'm pissed about the movies, 0.99cent movies was the deal of the century
And now I have to buy a memory card to store Em all. Have they said by when this would be done?

Android music apps seem to all lag. I have not found one that can compare to bbw.
This straight blows. I can see from the responses here that people didn't support it so I can see why they pulled the plug. I find it sad.

I am upset too. If BlackBerry always pays attention to enterprise and hoping that consumers will buy their devices anyway they must be living in dreamland.

well thats actually just how they became the #1 smartphone back in day. It wont happen again but they arent going for the consumer market per say anymore either so ditching those 2 services saves them money while it really doesnt hurt them with the buyers either

Not upset at all, infact good riddence. The thought of paying $.99 for a digital file makes me sick. BBM Music was however something I subscribed too and I was very upset with RIM for canceling that.

It's a step back but I have no interest in music or movies that are tied to A single device or platform. I'd rather buy a physical copy shipped to my house along with a digital download that isn't tied down to anything.
