Alright this just a general question has anyone had any luck unlocking the GPS on this? I downloaded telenav it worked fine. And an employee was kind emough to cancel my subscription to that on the back end. But it soon started stopping all the GPS functions from working after iet was cancelled. Even a PAID garmin mobile sub. So I just reinstalled telenav and what do you know it is all working again.
Seperate issues, with the GPS "unlocked". My BB maps will often not display the location and will only say acquiring. But I know it is working because the geotagging feature in the camera is spot on. Also google maps and live maps will only find my local towers and not actual GPS regardless of GPS and signal strength, but, yahoo maps through yahoo go (I managed to grab the version for I believe the 8800) GPS locks on perfectly and will track my position as I go etc. Granted the screen display is mostly wrong because it is made for the 8800 (too wide).

Any thoughts / solutions / inputs?
