I was fiddling around with the sounds for various events over the weekend. I basically was toying with the settings for the Normal profile. I don't believe I did anything with the Alarm but the phone (8330) makes no sound when the alarm goes off.

Current alarm settings:

Alarm type: Tone
Ring Tone: Alarm_HighAlert
Volume: Escalating

Any ideas about what I might have done would be greatly welcomed!!

There are some problems with the alarm on the Pearl and Curve, you may just be experiencing that.

Try changing escalating to low, medium or high and see if that works...

The alarm volume was originally set to Low; I had set it to Escalating as part of my troubleshooting.

Hmmm... well like I said, alot of people say the stock alarm on those 2 models (maybe more) sometimes just don't make any sound. I personally have only experienced this once, I couldn't figure out why the alarm didn't sound.

You tried a battery pull yet?

Battery pull is your best friend. If I ever have a problem, that's the first thing I try.
