i've upgraded my os to 4.5 through orange romania. i downloaded aim when it was made available for all carriers (i have t-mobile). it appears in my applications, the icon is on my screen, but not in my service books. msn and yahoo both work, but when i try to log into aim i get, "service not enabled for this handheld."

i've messed with its application permissions, resent the service books, and called the morons at the blackberry help section of t-mobile (the guy kept harping about aim on oz, of which i deleted a while ago).

what's a guy gotta do to use aim on an 8700g other than buy a new phone (i'm waiting for the bold).

    thanx,
