I'm several multiples of 12.

Been using BB since 2004 when it was handed to me through work and I HATED that ugly blue thing. I was a windows person at the time. My love for BB began with the 8703 I got around 2007 and I got my little burgundy 8310 in 2008. That was it. I was addicted.

Although I use and appreciate other platforms, BB is my preferred platform. I can give up the others but not my BB.

I too am several multiples of 12 plus a few extra years tossed on top. I am old enough to have attended the Beatles concert at Maple Leaf Garden during their first North American tour! I'm fairly new to BB having acquired my first one, Torch 9800, a year ago June. Hubby got one then too. Prior to that I had a "stupid" phone that did little besides make and receive calls.

Are there really some octogenarians on this forum? Something tells me that not everyone is being honest here...

As for me, I'm one of the older, over the hill types that teenagers with Androids like to deride. And I plan on getting a BB10 before I'm 50.

All three of my kids (12 to17) use a BB. They say wouldn't have it any other way for communication, and they do have the choice. They also have the 3rd and 4th gen iPod Touch which they like very much for other things that BB can't do...YET.
I don't think many teens frequent sites like CB so I suspect that the age 10-20 group would/could be higher than the poll shows.

Got my first BB, an 8330 in 2008 when I was 30 from Telus. 34 now, got my 9800 from Virgin Mobile in 2010.

We've had a few iPhone defectors, we just don't invite them to Thanksgiving anymore.

I'm 62 (only 26 in dyslexic years) and have had two BB's, the 9800 and the 9810. During the week I manage the Advance Funeral Planning dept at a family owned funeral home. On the weekend I minister at a church. Between the two careers, my phone gets a real workout. It keeps me connected and my calendar coordinated.

I am now the only one in my family that has a BlackBerry. My daughter just recently went to iPhone 4s (or euphemistically referred to as "the dark side") and my brother-in-law's company just switched him to iPhone as well. All the rest are on either dumb phones, or Android.
