I recently upgraded a Weather Network application that I use and now I receive The application WeatherEye has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy

This a personal Blackberry, I wasnt aware I had an IT policy. Any suggestion?

Did you buy it from someone who used to run it on a BES server?

I ended up disabling my firewall which was set to block text messages and now the application works.

My wife attempted to update WeatherEye last night on her phone and received the same messages stating that an IT policy was preventing the application from making connections. She is the one and only owner of the phone and has never been on a BES. Any ideas? I checked her firewall and it is locked so I can't even diable it. Would you think the serive provider put some type of IT policy on the phone that would cause these issues?

    Thanks.
