Using a blackberry 8330

I delete a contact from BB and after i synch, the contact comes back.
Also, if I enter a new contact on my desktop, after i synch, it is shows up twice on the blackberry!!

This started after I recently upgraded from 4.3 to 4.5

Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure in DM you have it set to two way reconciliation. Also if your BB is the one thats up to date more, set conflict resolution to be won by the device. Both are under sync settings > advanced.

turn off allow duplicates

Make sure that u have sync set up for from phone to comp ONLY then make sure there are no dups in ur contacts on the pc. If ur bb is always the most up to date leave as is, if not go back and change ur sync settings, but be careful so it doest happen again.

how do you change the sync settings??

in dm 4.6:

1.) main menu
2.) Synchronize
3.) on the left under configuration click synchronize
4.) Configure snyc settings for my desktop program
5.) let it load
6.) the the wizard opens seltect which one you want first. set it up hten go back and do the others.

I got me an antidupe software for my Microsoft outlook. I used it and then syncronized, after I wiped out all of my contacts from my phone. they have not come back ever since

Do you snyc with Google Snyc or yahoo as well? This sometimes dupes contacts
