So, I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 from virgin mobile... I know it's a bit outdated...I've stuck with it because of VM's low monthly cost. But now Boost Mobile has the 9310, for around 70-80 bucks. Is it worth the upgrade? ( yes I know BB10 is almost here but I can only afford prepaid at the moment lol)

Probably the biggest upgrade going from OS5 to OS7 would be the browser. The overall speed of the phone will be vastly improved as well. I'd say it's worth the $80, but keep in mind I really can't imagine being on an OS5 device at this point. :P

For 80 bucks I would be all over it. You are on pre paid so it does not lock you into a contract so your safe there.

My old 9650 I never liked os6 and always reverted back to os5 so when I went to os7 on the 9900 web browsing was a DREAM. Bb10 is around the corner but it will likely be a long time before you see them hitting the prepaid market.

My vote is yes go grab it and if you do let us know how much you love it.

The increase in boot time is pretty nice too (1:15 on my loaded down 9900 vs 6:00 with a fresh install on my old 8900), but I agree with the others that the browser upgrade is the biggest change, and I think it alone is worth the upgrade.

Even though I tell everyone to get a 9900/30 lol I say go for it.

Any OS 7 phone would be a huge improvement over what you currently have, and since you're not on a contract it makes the deal even better.
