I'm the type of person that never likes to delete anything. I love to keep my e-mails and SMS messages on my device because you never know when you may just need to read it again sometime later in the future.

That being said, I've had to backup my phone several times and "start fresh" (instead of reloading) for several reasons.

My question is, wouldn't it be nice if there's a way to allow you to restore more than one copy of your backup without affecting what you currently have on the device? So it'll be like combining all backup into the device instead of just restoring from one backup file.

Did what I say even made sense? Anyway, I thought it'd be cool!

Although it would be cool, it may not be good for security.
Which is the saving point for Blackberrys

Its possible to back up just one database such as emails, contacts, calendar, etc. except this will replace that entire database with the older backup file and erase the current. It would be a nice feature though.
