Alright, so I have not yet purchased my BB. I have Verizon, and my contract expired a couple weeks back. I have three choices: buy the Storm now, wait for the Tour, or wait longer for the Storm 2. I am a busy guy, and with finals coming up I need organization [u]now.[u] I personally like a touchscreen, and don't mind the "Click" screen on the Storm. I will use this mainly for media, moderate app use, and not a whole lot of email (Facebook addict, not email.)
I strongly recommend you spend some time browsing the Storm forum on this site and reading what Storm owners have to say about them before you decide to buy one.
I'd say go with the Tour. The Storm 2 might be a lot better than the Storm 1, but then again... it might not. There's no surprises waiting on the Tour at this point.
ETA: Are you really stuck with CDMA? There's lots more phone options on GSM networks. It kinda sounds to me like you want an iPhone more than a BlackBerry.
