Is it possible to install AcfiveSycn say on a Bold 9900 when on BIS?
I wish RIM would make it available as they will do for BB 10.

Nope. There is no ActiveSync for current BBs at all.

Yes, it will be built into BB10, but that does nothing for those of us on OS 7 and older (OS 6 for me).

BIS can access Exchange accounts through Outlook Web Access (OWA) if it's enabled on the Exchange Server, but that's limited only to the email account. You don't get access to the calender or contacts.
