Hey all,

I'm new here so give me a chance.

I recently received my father's old bb 8700r. It had an IT policy on it which i removed via a procedure i found on the net. This enabled me to put custom themes and ringtones and such on the device

Now the only thing that doesnt work is the bluetooth. I have a jawbone bluetooth headset and a bluetooth equipped macbook pro at home but neither seem to be detecting the bb. I've also noticed that no matter what i do to the bb bluetooth options, the bluetooth is always disabled.

I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone has a solution for me. The bluetooth is a big deal for me because in Quebec were not allowed to answer the phone in the car unless we have handsfree so i really want to get this working or il have to go back to my L7
