    I am planning on getting the BB 8520 WITHOUT the data plan. I was wondering if you could still wifi to download apps as well as App World onto the blackberry? I have an 8220 right now and I know that you cant download apps with that phone, is it also the same for the 8520?

    Appworld is for BlackBerry Data customers only. It will not work or install if you don't have BIS or BES service.

    No app worl but you could download from app sites.
