I just got an 8310 and the missed call indicator read 1 missed call. I have done everything to get rid of it. Does anyone know how to reset it? The obvious does not work.

You would have to find the miss call in your call logs and open the item.

It will reset it.

Find the miss call under your messages and open it. That's what works for me but I have an 8830M

Click the "green" send key and it will take you to the call log. There you will be able to see the call listed that you missed. It will have an "x" beside it. Scroll on to it and it should acknowledged it so that it will remove the missed call indicator on your home screen.

Sometimes calling your BB , and missing another call, and going back and deleting the new one will reset it. Also changing themes sometimes help "lose" an errant icon like that.
