Hello - I have an 8220 Flip and it worked fine for the first 9 months. Then out of the blue it just shut off and would not turn on. So they gave me a new phone and we got a new current SIM card and that phone lasted 3 weeks and it did the same - it just shuts off for no reason and sometimes it comes back on and sometimes it takes for ever to turn.
Has anyone else has this problem?
I don't do anything but phone, text, email and pin on these phones.
You had a phone last 9 months. And your complaining! I am lucky if I don't have to warranty one or do insurance claim after 6 months. I wear the key pads out from texting and now with BB email and im, but the 3 weeks had to just be a bad referb, they slip out a lot.

But wouldn't the BB say corrupt file ext when he puts his memory card in. I had this problem once and mine said that it was a pain tracking down that one downloaded image too.

Well it doesn't have a mem card in at this time - I didn't install it just in case.
They are sending me a new phone and sim card today to start fresh - so we'll see.
