I just got my 7130g and I love it. i have a data plan (non BIS) and I see it says "edge" . I inputted my Apn, which is for unicel (apn.unicel.com) and i cannot use opra, it always tells me it cant connect to the network.

am i missing some other settings on the phone? what should i check?

No, i dont even see the icon for it.

stange thing to. when i turn on my phone, (like i just did) i see where it says edge, andy my green light is blinking, then after a few min, it goes away, no more edge, and green light...whats that about? on my old 8700c it was alwyas there..

I'm not sure, maybe resend your service books and reregister your device. If that does not help call your service provider and verify the set up internet for you.

Have you checked the Opera Mini settings thread for Unicel? There is a thread for this in Opera Mini's forums--it might help.

I will check that scott. One thing that I did do, is i upgraded my OS. i was still on 4.1.x.x

Don't know about that. I assume you need a BB data plan to use the BB browser, but I don't know for sure.
