Has anyone successfully paired a 7130e with a Garmin StreetPilot 550? On my first attempt, the 550 recognized my Blackberry but when I tried to complete the connection I got an error message saying something like "couldn't connect to 7130e..." (I didn't catch the whole message). On every attempt after that, the devices don't see each other. I verified Discoverable is enabled on the 7130, and I've followed what little directions come with each device. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I was having the same problems pairing my blackberry with my Garmin 550. I had the 8700c which I was able to pair about 90% of the time. When I switched to the 8310 curve, I would connect for about 10 seconds then drop. Very frustrated.
I did update my Garmin's bluetooth to the lastest version and now I connect with no problem. I'm very happy now.
