Make it unlimited goddamn it. **** take that I have to reformat .mp3's and downscale videos so I can send them through. It's 1080p footage which is 140mb with 20 seconds on it, can't even downscale go 720p cause it's still huge ffs.

Then I hope you are prepared for the whole service bogging down and delivery of messages getting even slower and more unreliable as the capacity of the BBM network gets swamped by video files being sent around. (Probably the same ones, millions of times too.)

Maybe they should just charge people a surcharge when they want to send a file over 8MB.

There is a GREAT way to monetize BBM. Have 16mb for the masses but charge a premium for those who want more..... say up to 32mb or 64mb. Could even have as tiers.

People who run networks understand things like bandwidth capacity, utilisation, and managing those limited resources.
