50% of New Blackberry Users coming from other Phones?

So from using what is the other half coming from?

That's awesome if true, but I also know a bunch of people who have Storms or old Curves and said they will never get a blackberry again

I was a first time BlackBerry user on a Storm, used it for 3 years too before I became tired of never having any software updates, new apps, or a decent touchscreen model to move to; UNTIL now..

Z10 has brought me back!

The fact that there are two initial numbers that vary within a decent margin is interesting. I never would have believed one or the other by itself. Did CB blog do a poll on this already?

Not surprised at all, I'm one of them. iPhone is a pretty old platform, while Android has a terrible user experience. I spent 1 year loading various Android ROMs and running benchmarks - to think of it that all that phone was good for.

I don't care what id10t Americans buy (and I am one). They are so ignorant they will likely stay with a or i phones. As long as the rest of the planet uses their brain and gets BBs I will be able to get one.

I think it'll be a tougher sell in the US though, as Blackberry definitely has a MUCH stronger image in Canada.

yeah that's what I am thinking. but even if blackberry just takes back major marketshare in CA at this point that would be a great start.
