Im looking for some education here.
We all know that 4G and LTE networks are rolling out ( idk if 4G=LTE so I'll use them separately, pardon me)
Do we know anything on BB 4G devices? Im in So Cal and ATT 3G is not that great, especially for a commuter like myself.
Can someone confirm current 3G devices are NOT compatible w/h 4G even with a 4G SIM???
there are currently no true 4G phones. LTE maybe one day able to reach 4G speeds but not as of currently. GSM phones like ATT and Tmobile use a HSPA+ networks which will not ever hit true 4G speeds.
current blackberries are capped at 3.6Mbps download so until RIM decides to up the maximum your stuck at the slower speeds.

4G = 100MB/sec. based on the governing body who defines such things.
Currently, no carrier has true 4G speed. T-Mo has areas at 21MB/sec (so, I guess you could really call it 3.25G) and is ramping some area up to move to 42MB/sec later this year (so maybe call it 3.5G?). All this on their HSPA+ network.
I doubt we will see any LTE BlackBerry devices until 2012.
