    I upgraded my os because my bb crashed. When I installed 4.5 and it rebooted, suddenly I have a video camera option and can take video. My 8310 did not have this and at&t didn't offer it as a feature.

    So am I smoking crack or something? Because I have video now.

    I tried to search on this so I apologize if I'm reposting anything, first time on the forum.

    p.s. as a side question, I lost my blackberry messenger when I reloaded, anywhere I can redownload/install?

    Video recording is a feature of the newer OS's for that device.

    Try resending your service books for messenger, and yes, 4.5 gives you video. Congrats!

    Video and HTML email are the bigger points of 4.5. To get your BBM back, assuming you still have the OS installed on the computer. You start desktop manager then application loader. When the list of apps for your device comes up on the left just make sure theres a check in the box for BBM. Follow the prompts to completion.

    lol, yea upgrading does that it gives you video, was the first thing i did and I was surprised at the new icon lol
