    i was reading t mobile website today and it says the are coming out with 3G, my question is do i need a new phone or just a different type of sim card? still waiting on a response from t mobile......but while i wait, maybe someone here knows?

    No. Bold Storm iPhone G1 are a few. Many more will come. Your 8100 will work just fine, you just won't see the faster data speeds of a 3g device. Look for HSDPA compatible.

    There is still a catch! Only the G1 will work with T-moble 3G. T-mobile is using the 1700Mhz band for their 3G rather than the global standard 850/1900Mhz bands that att (and many other countries use). Sorry to burst your bubble there......

    They actually have 5 other 3g phones. Nokias, Sony, Samsungs, for what it's worth. T-Mobile Devices Filter by 3g.
