Hmmm...not likely. let's get to 1080p first.
Mobbing on yah haters.
Of course not, this is BlackBerry.
You can expect it 3-5 years after it becomes a standard.
In the meantime, "it's not necessary , (whatever resolution we're on) is just fine and (x crackberry user) can't tell the difference between one and the other".

Being late means you have the advantage of skipping what your competitors have gone through.. they need to utilise that advantage...

that's not the way it has to be, and not everyone has that perspective.. obviously thought I appreciate a lot of people here have debated that

Someone had to be the obnoxious pompous realist...

Spec is spec lol eyes can't see past 720p so for me anything over is just a mute point.

Enterprise does not need a screen with those specs so no you'll never see it in BB phone.
So, was I wrong?
I can tell the difference between 1080p and 720p quite easily..there's more than just the factor of pixels involved..
But i wouldn't want to sacrifice GPU for lighting up pixels personally so I hope the Z50 or future full touch screen reaches a nice balance..

Never say never

I'm no dummy, I'd absolutely like to see a better screen on my Z30.
But not at the expense of my all day battery life and extra taxing of my processor!
Owise, I'm perfectly content with my screen as is.

There's a clear difference between a 720p and a 1080p. BlackBerry better step up their specs.

Decreased battery life. Higher CPU/GPU specs for the same framerate. Yeah never.
1080p seems to be the industry standard though, it's one of the things people argue with me against the Z30, whether they can tell the difference or not the fact that they don't have it and it's almost an industry standard means they'll be fuel to the flames of critics

And other manufactures have managed to have a 1080p screen and maintain a good battery life how? Those are problems BlackBerry is meant to work on solving.. thats innovation..
For every problem there a solution.. but you have to be willing to stop saying never and start asking how..

I know erm..

Yeah, why not? This should be in the next phone Z50. Even a phablet I hope they come out with. Chen should jump all over this. Skip 1080p. It's old now.

Typical nerd fixates on the resolution and ignores the cute girl.
*facepalm* just thought you meant the person above me, never mind :)
