Will probably get an iPhone7 or 8.

Yep, that will be the challenge and not looking forward to carrying a recharging brick for use 3 or 20 times a day...

Micro SD is nice. Using a Lumia 950 at the moment which has both an SD card and removable battery.

From the iPhone 6 on I think the iPhone performers pretty well with only a 1800mAh battery - much better than BB10 on the Z10 does with the same size battery...

Third party testing.... iPhone 6 has a 61h endurance rating the Passport with a 3450mAh battery has a 73h endurance rating (my Z10 only scored a 46). The iPhone SE (1624mAh) due to it's smaller screen size has the same endurance rating as the Passport. Sadly the PRIV with it's huge battery didn't rate too well either... only a 62h rating. Would be nice if it could be rescored with MM.....

The Passport does very well in Stand By, and with just Talk Time - but you start using the GPU/CPU and the Passport starts falling behind. Proable a result of the older generic 801 processor in the Passport, versus a custom processor that is built to match the operating system and the functions that Apple concentrates on....

I generally get mixed results from my iPhone 6, totally depends on my usage (and signal depending on where I am). But yeah, Apple has definitely improved battery life on devices from the not so olden days. I think BlackBerry will get a better handle on battery as they gain more experience in Android.

Competition and comparison are values. I really don't get all the people that hope that OS10 will die.

They just don't get that the more the competition, the better the product.
The day Android will be the only OS, and believe that one day it could be, there will be no real gain for anybody.

If you aren't paid by Google to hold for the green robot operating system, let other people at least dream for what they like.
