    Hey,
I was wondering if the patch is also for the 8320 Curve and also, where can one find out if there is an OS update for the device one owns if they are with Tmo, like I am?

Go to mobile.blackberry.com and download it ota from your device. That's how I was finally able to get the patch for my 8800.

I have a 7130e. I downloaded my 2007 dst patch in the spring. I just checked my applications and it reads "2007 dst patch applied". Should my device update automatically?

does installing this patch delete your calendar dates already set? I remember doing something once after reloading my OS and the calendar pop ups came back but then I lost every event date already scheduled. Will this happen with the patch?

Yesterday RIM released a patch for the Calendar/Reminder problem for devices with the following OS (8830 and 8300 devices and possibly 8800):
    4.2.2.66
    4.2.2.67
    4.2.2.75
    4.2.2.81
    4.2.2.85
    4.2.2.89
    4.2.2.90
    4.2.2.89
    4.2.2.103
The patch also addresses an issue where Internet Explorer or BlackBerry device stops responding after attempting to download the DST 2007 update or Calendar Patch (with an Error 507).

The patch can be downloaded OTA here:
2007 Calendar Patch - blackberry.com/CalendarPatch/patch/index.shtml (add http://www. at the front of blackberry.com when entering on your device)

The link to the patch's web page is:
    BlackBerry

There is currently no USB patch available, but it should be posted on the patch's page when it is.

Ok I have a question. I just got my phone in late November and my software is 4.2.2.170 (312).

Do I need this update and what does it do?

    Thanks in advance.

So does this fix the reminder where you can choose to delay it for more than 5 seconds??

If not, does anyone else know how to change this. Whenever i get a reminder my only option is to delay for 5 minutes?

    Thanks!

Look in Calendar->Options for the Snooze option. That determines the default snooze interval which can be none, 1, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes.

    Hi guys,

I'm new in the BlackBerry world since 5 days (Curve 8310, T-Mobile UK). Unfortunately my BB also don't remind me. Tried to download the Patch, but the BlackBerry Page says that my OS version (v4.2.2.181) isn't supported atm.

What can I do to get the issue solved - any ideas?

    Thank you,

    PS: I'm using a Mac

If I remember correctly, newer versions of the OS already have the patch built in, so you won't need to patch. This is why a patch is not available for them.

I am having some problems with my calendar. I set a total of six reminders throughout the day and into the evening, and repeat on a daily basis. The strange thing is: although all six reminders are set identically, but only 2-3 will put out an alert consistently (sound or vibe), with the remaining ones never put out an alert.

I have upgraded my OS to V4.2.2.184 (SingTel for Chinese/Japanese/Korean). All profiles have been checked and rechecked. I also deleted the email service book CICAL but no help. I also tried to delete all reminders and re-enter them, but did not help.

Any ideas as what might be potential problems?

    Thank you in advance.

I've downloaded and installed calendar patch successfully, now how I do get rid of the old duplicate entries. I went through Desktop Manager/Backup and Restore and cleared the calendar (which I read about in another thread) in Device Databases. This does not clear the calendar in my BB. Why? How can I clear my BB calendar then re-synch to eliminate all the duplicates?

    Oops--should say I'm using Curve 8310, AT&T BIS on a PC.

Well, this is my question; is this patch needed? My clock adjusted to DST without a hitch and my calendar is functioning fine. I bought the phone in December; would that patch already have been included?

I tried downloading the google sync and it said it needed the patch to upload so i went to the patch link and it said that it couldn't download because it didn't support my current OS. so i just updated my BB to the most current OS and it is still saying the same thing when i try to link to the patch. any suggestions?!?!
