thats great news since i have my card full would also like to add movies to it now i can get a 16gb, would it slow down my blackberry?

It shouldn't slow the BB any. It may take more time to go from one media to another.

which 16Gb is for Bold? I took a look at kingston and they have class 2, 4, and 6.

The class doesn't matter. That's the file transfer speed rate. I have used 2 and 6 and can not tell the difference.

I don't know of any PDA that has a media card slot capable of more than the most basic data transfer speed. If you use the same card in a good digital camera the speed difference will become very noticable.
