I'm also not a fan of the red, but I have a feeling the theme will be adjustable to different colored accents. That's just a feeling I have.

Anyways, I quickly Photoshopped the screen grabs to use cyan instead of red.

If these are real, then the rumors/speculation that they're going for more of a flat design are true. You can tell with the virtual keyboard now that it has more straight edged corners on the keys and less of a 3D look to the frets. I like it.

Thanks. They look so much better in blue.

I prefer the current keyboard though. It gives it a more 3D look that may help in typing. The new one looks too much like Android, in my opinion.

Lift the phone to wake up is an interesting feature if it makes to official... it really annoys me to always have to push a button or swipe to wake up.

To me it's best to leave alot of the UI the same. But give the user choice to customize if they choose to.

For those referencing the Android keyboard, also keep in mind that the Windows Phone keyboard is similar as well. Everyone is sorta converging in that area and going towards a more flat design, so it's inevitable. Bias aside, I still prefer the BB10 look.

Well in.minority but I love the red especially for the music app. It's got that "beats" feeling to it. Anyways as others have said options is key. Just have a section for users to select from about say 10-12 different colors

Honestly I don't think the design is flat enough. If you're gonna go for a flat design you either go all in or not at all.

At the moment that looks a mix of flat and not.

Blackberry really need to be brave on this front and not toe dipping.
