Read the fine print... most will give you a limited time to download the movie in, a few weeks the one I looked at. The problem is the copyright protection can easily get screwed up, and you can't download the movie again to unlock it.

But for $.99 it is a good deal for a long term rental.

Still can't find the "flyer" for the sale, so it's hard to know what is on sale. But Star Trek is there

Even 99 cents is too much for After Earth.

I've purchased quite a few at $0.99. Typically, you're allowed to download the movie for up to 5 years, but you're limited to downloading on up to 5 different devices. If you switch devices more than once a year, you may lose the purchase on that 6th device.

I still think a buck is a great price even if you only watch the movie once.

Before downloading from BB World, and If you have a Netflix account, check for these titles before you make a purchase.

A couple of them already exist on the Canadian version of Netflix. The US version may have even more.

As I said check the fine print. Every one of these sale movies state that you can download them only until 4/30/2014. These are specials that don't follow the normal terms.

After that, you won't be able to re-download them or unlock the copyright protection. Might not be an issue if you always backup and restore your device. Personally I've found that issues like the contact bug can be avoided by not doing a restore.
