Is it just me or am I doing this wrong,

If you were to look up a phone number online and copied it, you can not past on the dial screen, are you kidding me????

And it doesn't allow you to simply click on the phone number that you searched in the Web page such as whitepages.com
    To dial

Please help, it's a huge inconvenience

We used to be able to do this and a whole bunch of other things on the old BlackBerry. I wish they had left the old things on the new Z10 while adding all the new features. Hopefully this gets addressed in future updates.

Agreed lack of copy and paste is an inconvenience.

Try doing it the old fashion way and memorize the number then type it in. It is good exercise for your brain and ensures that you remain smarter than your smart phone.

Yeah I had a similar issue tonight. A friend wanted someone's number from my phone. I went into my contacts and was surprised to find I could not copy and paste the phone number into an sms message.

Since owning my Z10 I've had to do this at least a dozen very frustrating times. find a number online zoom in and minimize that app. Then open the phone app and jump back and forth 3 times per number.

I'm shur its coming in an update but really should have been done last year

Take a screen capture and type the number manually. Not perfect. A fix will come.

If you copy and paste the # to Remember you can just tap the ph # (or hold your finger on it) and it should dial from there. Thats what I've been doing. Works great.

Maybe BBRY left this feature out because of the possibility of future legislation against copy and pasting phone numbers. ;P

Hahahaha! Err..camera shutter sound, call recording.
This copy-paste stuff should have been fixed in the first update (10.0.x)!

Maybe BlackBerry is going back to old ways of doing business. They decide what they think users want; ignore what users say they want. Lose humongous market share in the process.

A little tip for copying a number from contacts.

Open contacts. Tap edit. Now you can copy the number.

Another one is trying to call from a text.
    Click overflow, no option. Ok.
Back out of the text, highlight the person, click dial in the overflow and I'm calling cid:046 or something.
