Ok, now that you've done that on your BlackBerry, what do you see? A list of certain applications, right?

I could have sworn, back in day one would only have HOME / Messages / Phone / Browser & Pin Messenger as a choice...

I checked mine today, and I have a few extras, Viigo & BeamBerry.

Does anyone know if it's the program that determines if they show up there, or is it something else?

Ivan, i thought it was more to do with your most recent use apps upto a certain number. But you are right, Beamberry and Viigo appear in mine too...

I think a bit of testing is required...

HAving said that though, i full quitted some programs and they wont go

When I learned that trick, I was told it lists active applications. The first four (browser, home, messages, phone) cannot be closed as they are obviously a bit important for the BB to run, and whatever else is there was never exited properly or is intended to still be running by the user.

Those are all active apps. Viigo has to be open and running to constantly pull new content down, and Beamberry is open so that it can be used when you need it.
