I recall reading about phantom vibrations from the blackberry, or that you would think you have a message because you felt it vibrate, but when you look there is not one. Do a gis for phantom vibrations to read up on it. Anyhow, has this happened to anyone? I know I have felt it a few times. I eliminated most of them but a few. We have card readers at work and when you swipe your card I feel it vibrate. Those I can deal with, but the ones where I am sitting at my desk or driving down the road, I swear I feel it vibrate to indicate a message.
Happens to me all the time. I'll think I hear it vibrate, look over to my nightstand and stare at it for 10 seconds waiting for a red light but it never comes. Or I'll think I feel it vibrate and look and nothing.
Glad to hear I'm not alone lol.
Mines kinda worse cause I think I HEAR it vibrate instead of feeling it lol

That has happened to me with cell phones in the past but so far I haven't experienced it with my BB. I did think I heard it ring a couple of times though but nothing.
I also wonder if this can occur with memory leaks the same way BBs lose sms messages and call log entries. Before I made room in my pearl I would get sms alerts (vibrate and tone) and then when I would look there would be nothing at all. Turns out the messages were supposed to be there but were leaked due to low memory
But sometimes I think I am crazy because no matter what ringtone or type of phone or device I have, I think I hear it ring sometimes, get my device out, and nothing...

Just happened to me last night... I just pulled the battery out and let it sit like that for a second and then I was back in business. *Live Laugh Love*
