    Hello all,

    I've searched around this forum but couldn't find an answer.

    I have an older Blackberry 7290, v4.0.2.49 (Platform 1.8.0.142).

    I had Yahoo IM installed on it and it was working fine until today when I couldn't login and it says my version is no longer supported.

    So I tried to download Yahoo IM from several different sites directly from my blackberry and every time I get this message

    "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Yahoo! Messenger"

    Does this mean I can't have Yahoo IM on my blackberry anymore? Or do I need an older version of Yahoo IM from somewhere?

    I think you need to run atleast 4.1.1.377 on your device. Try doing an OS upgrade
