now is this considered a high end BB10 like the Bold is now , a middle like Torch or a low end like the Curve ie. other than the obvious difference of not being a touch screen is it at a par with the Z10 quality wise

From what I know, quality of both models should be equal. The first QWERTY BB10 won't be a next gen Curve, but a full Bold successor. So you should expect a rather high quality. However, there are no real specs known for the QWERTY model, so we don't know whether the CPU, memory and especially battery will be (much) different.
