Oh yes without a doubt I'd get the 9900 did when it came out and I'd do it again

In a heart beat. In my humble opinion the bold 9930 is almost the perfect device for me.
Yes, I bought my 9900 this week. Best purchase I've made all year. This phone will be with me, until BB10 version of 9900 is released. Don't get caught up in all the hype of specs/apps/OS wars; buy the phone that works for you. My brother has an iPhone and my wife has an Android; they both love their phones. Me...I love my BB. If RIM goes under (I don't think they will), I'd switch to Android, but I'd miss my BB.
If my carrier would carry the new OS7 phones I would buy one today. My carriers only sells two BB phones 9330 curve and 9650 bold. They stay about 1 year behind on BB new phones.
nope for a few reasons:
1) they dont work in my area
2) waiting for the BB10 phones
3) everything goes cheeper eventually
I will be buying one at full price in the next few days. I just can't decide between the 9900 and the 9860...
If my 9650 dies, it's a 9930 without hesitation.
Yes and I did! Bold 9900
I like the BlackBerry Torch 9860 but I am addicted to a physical keyboard. The BlackBerry Bold 9790 might meet my needs but it offers nothing that my BlackBerry Bold 9780 does not already do quite well. I think I will wait until the BBiX smartphones are available.
I bought my 9700 full price on the very day it came out on TMO. So, $150 for 9810 BB7 is a real deal that I can't resist ;-). I tried it and like it a whole lot better than OS5 and OS6.
I look forward to BB10 with flagship Bold form factor toward 2012.
I'm pretty sure that there won't be anything between now and OS10 so that they can focus all of their efforts on it. I just don't like the idea of them releasing a device saying that it's top notch and then a year later saying that its hardware isn't capable of running the new OS. With the iPhone 4S I can expect to get at least iOS6 and 7 before I'm due for an upgrade.
I bought a 9900 off contact, but I wouldnt. I came from a 9780 and the OS differences from 6 & 7 isnt enough to sign on for a 2 year contract. Sure the hardware is upgraded, but in my opinion still not enough to sign on for another 2 years. Not to say that the 9900 isnt my favorite BB, cuz it is.
Not until they release a device with battery life of 9700/ 9780.
I doubt if it will happen. Lol. I miss my 9700 for that reason.
BB10s will be awesome devices..... whenever they're released.

I upgraded from my Pearl Flip 8230 to the Torch 9810 1 week after release on AT&T and couldn't be happier. Really, the BlackBerry 7 has shortened the gap between BlackBerry, iOS, and Android. The Torch is an amazing device, as I'm sure all the other BB7 devices are. No other device fits me like a BlackBerry.
Now, I'm having a tough time deciding whether to buy a PlayBook or save up for a BlackBerry 10 phone.
definitely.
doesn't matter that it won't be supported in future because bb10 is prob not coming out till late 2013 anw
a blackberry style..... please explain to me why you would purchase this device...
i personally thought that North America was past flip phones....
Not hardly. If the Style came to At&t with the specs of my 9810, I would get it. Lol, it was never a question of being "past flip phones", it's a simple matter of preference that should require no explanation.
At first I thought the Style was hideous, but after actually trying it out it worked pretty nice. I like the idea of buttons not being mashed when it's in your pocket.
I bought the 9790 on an early upgrade from Bell. Love it, no regrets.
I've switched to Telus and going to get the 9900.
Bye Bye Robbers!
Yes, Blackberry OS7 devices such as the Blackberry BOLD 9790 & 9900, Torch 9860, Curve 9380, Torch 9810 are great.
Played with the 9930 at a VZW store and found the call quality to be less than my 9650. Really like the new keyboard but don't have a problem with what I've got.
Prefer the BGT Zen Calendar theme I use over the OS7 stock theme.
Yes, the OS7 browser is zippy, but the Opera Mini I use is fairly quick itself, and browsing is not a primary task for me on my device.
Certainly, there are other benefits to OS7 and the new hardware, but my work horse 9650 is still doing the job and I'm staying with it...for now.
Looking forward to OS10!
