    The best app hands down is Fotmob! Look for Soccer Scores by NorApps in BlackBerry World. The Android version is excellent and easily the best of breed. I've been using it for years now.

    In the Amazon store it's called FotMob-World Cup 2014.

    Football challenge looks awesome I think I'm gonna try that one out. I'm really interested in having the feature that allows you to import the games and times into native calendar.

    There are World Cup apps available. However, since we all agree that Portugal is going to win this year, you guys don't really need them.

    I wouldn't count on the Score updating there app. They didn't do it for the olympics, and they probably won't for the world cup.

    Again get FotMob! Hands Down! It also has a link to listen live for selected games.

    I watched the US vs. Turkey game today. The lax defending and generous chances afforded to Turkey were appalling. We will be severely punished for that against ANY of the other teams in our group. Our young defenders exhibited excellent recovery pace but their naive positioning placed us in danger far too much.

    I won't bother to address the offensive side because against a better team we might get lucky. But, our lax defense will have us on the back foot chasing the game. That is a place where we don't want to be but it may be exciting to watch for neutrals.
