Just idly curious if anyone from RIM reads (i.e., does not troll, LOL) these forums ... hmmm.

Then again, the secret and mysterious nature of RIM is kind of appealing.

There is a sub forum for RIM employees only. Only Mods and special members can login and see those forums. All upcoming features are put to a vote there and nothing gets approved unless its cleared by Kevin.

There were two members who were introduced as RIM employees. I forgot their names now. A man and a woman.

I am sure they do read some of the things said on here.

Thorsten called Kevin which leads me to believe RIM is fully aware of CrackBerry.com!

I would estimate 60% of everyone with a BlackBerry has visit this site one time or another. Unless RIM employees don't use BlackBerry products......which I doubt, there here, ......laughing there A$$ES off

RIM is like the FBI of smartphones - they're super smart and cool! I wonder if RIM employees do read this... Maybe! They might give this site an overall look to see what's happening. It's probably natural for a company to pat itself on the back from time to time; and seeing this site - with so many BlackBerry users and so many people who love their devices - must make them happy!

I work for a IT company who is a competitor of RIM and I visit forums for our phone and tablets all the time. But as a user.

I don't work in marketing or anything like that, but I doubt they frequent their own forums as a spy.

I can guarantee many RIM employees peruse this forum on a very regular basis. I spoke with one this week who knew many of the specific threads, was aware of the 5 year anniversary and knew quite a bit about Kevin and his access to RIM mucky mucks.

RIM does indeed view these forums and keeps close eye on the CB. Trust me.

I know a few RIM employees that drop by once in a while. I suspect many do. Many of them are Crackheads just like many of us.

they do visit here. Thorsten said himself that he will be visiting CB often to see what we think of the current going ons with RIM and BB....personally i think the reason for the delay for the BB10 slider is due to this site. it originally came out with a pic then a good number of us said we would rather it be horizontal then then BOOM RIM announced the BB10 slider was coming out later...so ya i really hope it is a horizontal slider
