    okay, i have to send in my phone as i was having problem with it...
    i wiped it,


    will this take the OS back to default? or do i need to downgrade it?

    If you wipe it from the device it will leave whatever the current OS is on the device. If you wipe it using a program such as JL_Cmder, that will remove everything from the device and you will need to reinstall an OS since the device will be displaying the 507 error.
