    The wireless carrier signal icon does not accurately reflect the true signal strength. Reception tends to be better than indicated, most of the time in my experience.

    It would require BlackBerry to provide the relevant patents and designs to their licensees, assuming that there is actual substance behind "Paratek antenna".

    Which BlackBerry phones even used a Paratek to begin with? The only model I recall where it was specifically mentioned was the Z30.
