Does this mean the not yet released 900/9930 is old news? Something I found interesting is this quote: "the Colt is not expected to support current BES versions. It'll however support Microsoft ActiveSync out-of-the-box.".

I wonder if QNX will sync better with Google Apps than BB's current offerings.

It's a rumor and the 9900 has been released.

I live in the US, I don't believe it yet to be released.

My main concern would be BB's ability to properly sync with Google services, I hope they do.

The 99XX will sync as well as previous BBs which is good. It's the first QNX phone that they expect to have trouble out the gate, and that's with the BES side of things. But the soon (soon in the US) to be released 99XX series will work just fine with BIS & BES, and such sync just as good if not better than earlier BBs with google accounts.

EDIT: I changed the title to make it reflective of the actual content of the thread. As this is NOT simple another report about the future QNX phone. (I would have closed such a thread )
