    If you're asking if an old legacy phone (bb7 and before) can run the new bb10, then the answer is no.

    If you're asking if another carrier in the world had an OS version for your legacy device newer than the one your carrier provided, then the answer is maybe.

    Z10, Z30, Z3, Leap
    P'9982, P'9983 & P'9984

    Run the current BlackBerry 10 OS

    All previous devices stay on the current OS7.1 and lower
