Not much faster. Think of the AT&T vs VZW thing.

Sprints EVDO rev.A is on par with i think most GSM UMTS/HSPA 3G. now if you wanna compare tmobiles "4G" HSPA+ with Sprints 4G WiMAX, i think the WiMAX is faster.

Right but the sprint bbs will only be 3g so it will be slower then tmobile 4g

I know there is a slight difference in 3G to 4G on T-Mobile as I have experienced it. Now a different network, I am not sure. My one co-worker has an epic and it is pretty quick on Sprint. Hard to honestly say as it about seems even with my mytouch4g and IIRC she said it was 4G as well.

    do some research.....according to wikipedia....

Sprints EVDO Rev. A 3G is supposed to be anywhere from 2.45-3.1 Mbits/sec
    T-Mobiles HSPA+ 4G is supposed to be up to 14 Mbits/sec

but then again, these are theoretical numbers. realworld limitations may make one slower/faster than the other depending on things.

on paper, t-mobiles HSPA+ should be faster.
