How much does a wireless router cost, like to have at your home. Do you have to plug your phone into it, or do you just have to be near it? Also, is it something you would have to pay monthly for, or is it just a one time cost?

They range in price, for a decent one you are looking around $50 to $75

This is the one I have and would recommend it:

You don't plug your phone line into it, you have to plug the ethernet or USB cable from your high speed internet modem into it. If you have DSL then your phone line would go into the cable modem and then an ethernet cable from the modem to the wireless router. The only monthly fee you will have is for your internet service.
