Belkin routers usually have problems with blackberries. D-Link, Linksys don't usually have any, as I have a *very* old linksys-based one that works like a charm. The icon is always white on my device. (it's in the shop and i'm using a very old web browser at the dos prompt via usb key lol)

I'm currently on Holiday & won't pay roaming charges so I'm depending on wifi alot but luckily I've brought my iPhone as well which is flawless on wifi where as my 9700 can only be described as a painful experience. Why it keeps Going in & out of wifi connection I'll never know but it's handy to know that you still need your data turned on but roaming turned off. My advice would be that if your gonna need to depend on wifi connection but don't wanna ditch your berry then get an iPod Touch.
