Is this a problem with my wifi or with my blackberry?

I just had a problem which involved reinstalling the OS, and all of my apps were wiped so I'm trying to redownload them. However, it won't let me connect to wifi.

The reason I need wifi is because I'm currently out of service and won't be back in service (edge only) until tomorrow afternoon.

    Thank you!

Or mac filtering? Turn on logs in your router and see if it is rejecting your dhcp requests for some reason.

Try resetting both the modem and the router. If there is a WEP key, login to the home network.

Are you on t-mobile? if so: Is it a problem with the browser or actually connecting to the wifi?

Have you tried changing the browser?

Settings->Options-> Advanced Options-> Browser -> default browser -> "Hotspot Browser" (web2go won't let you use wifi without the data services active)
