I have been using Wifi on my 8520 at home for the past couple of months with no problems.

Now suddenly I am getting this message. I can still load up pages I have visited previously, but as soon as I do a search on Google or something I get that message.

My Wifi is working fine, full signal and connection.

    Im totally baffled.

Anyone any idea what could be causing this?

    Thanks.

I used to have trouble like this, when I went one whole month without BIS. Do you have BIS activated? When I had this problem the wifi logo would be grey instead of white. Is yours white or grey? What fixed mine was, when I activated BIS, my service books resent and the logo now stays white. My mom has my gf's old 8350i w/o BIS and her wifi logo stays grey and she looses connection after a while. Maybe that's your problem?

The only way I know of fixing this is resending the service books. Mine got fixed after activating BIS.

I have a Torch 9800 and the exact same thing happened. Used it for a couple of month and everything fine. Now when wifi is turned on it will not find internet.

The wifi signal is good and strong and is same wifi I have used all along. All other computers on network use wifi daily.

I hope someone has the answer as the internet is loaded with folks that have this same problem.

I am having the same issue with wifi on my Torch 9800 on ATT...it seems to work when it wants to. When I called ATT tech support they had my do several things and after several hours (about 6 hours) on the phone to trouble shoot they decided to send me a new phone through the warranty exchange. Once I got the new phone and set it up it worked fine one day but not the next. Its hit or miss if it actually works correctly or not...
I have tried to disable and delete the wifi settings and reset them, I made sure to register it, have cleared out my browsing history, done a battery pull, and reset the router and checked my internet connections with NO luck. I have even reinstalled the operating system on the phone and updated it and gotten a new sim card. My lap top is connected and stays connected with no issues. I have even put my sim card in my old BB Bold 9700 with OS5 and it connects and stays connected to my wifi with no issues.

I have noticed one thing that I'm sure if anyone else has, when I am able to connect to the wifi I am unable to send picture messages...I do a battery pull and then I am able to send them but CAN NOT connect to wifi.
I have to believe that this is probably a bug with the OS6 operating system.
    PLEASE HELP!!!
